OK, so we are now one day past the end of my fuzzy month.

no book to post. I onlyt got to 22 pictures that I would have been happy to include, and that was without editing. I had only minimal text and the book would have been very basic.

I feel verry sad about this. I would feel as though I had let the SoFoBoMo community down if it were not for the spectacular efforts that I have seen so far. To include my poorly prepared efforts would have seriuosly degraded the submissions.

OK, so the main excuse that I have, is that purely and simply, I had too much on. Work mainly.

I can only say that I hope SoFoBoMo '10 will kick off, and I will register for that, and I will have a determined attempt.

I am very, very sorry that it didn't work for me this year.

SoFoBoMo

So, here I am. Tomorrow, Monday the 11th of May is the start of my
"fuzzy" month

I've got a rough idea of what I am going to do so I might as well get
on with it

The first thing I have to do is change the title of my book.

Idiot

So, there I was with a nice scene of a lad on a bike by the lakside
with a swan beside him. From 50 yards away it looked just like they
were having a conversation. Nice dog - doing what dogs do. Idiot owner
who should have had the dog on a leash. Dog chased and very nearly
caught the swan. Me? I didn't have the bottle to say anything. Wish I
had!

Brad Barton

Who the heck is Brad Barton (he'll be thinking the same about me if he ever finds this)?

Every so often, I find some pictures that leave me stunned. Brad has some like that (even the ones on how he made a light set up). No one ever reads this blog, but if they did I'd like them to visit Brad's site.

Ever since I started looking at Paul Butzi's Photomusings blog, I have been continually impressed with his close up pictures of plants. Their stark simplicity belies their attractiveness. Of course, I want to have a go. I hope he doesn't mind my trying to copy his style. In this case, imitation really is meant to be the sincerest form of flattery.

SoFoBoMo

I'm quite enjoying playing with the camera on my iPhone, whilst I
fully accept that I'm not a very good photog I still need to get used
to taking pictures with the level of "rigour" that SoFoBoMo will
require. Also, don't think that my submission will be with pictures
all taken on the iPhone or my good camera
